Description:
American flintlock fowler 12 ore. Barrel length is 40½”, overall length is 56”. Bore is excellent. This fowler has a Ketland lock with roller frizzen. Barrel wedge escutcheons are silver, as is the initialed silver roundel behind the upper breech tang. This is a very handsome Fowler with pleasing lines and very good length, while not being heavy or clumsy. The wrist has an old repair which was well done.
