Description:
Colt Single Action Army is serial number 207765 matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. It is a .44/c caliber, 5 1/2” barrel, blue finish with rubber grips and was made in 1901. The action functions properly and the bore is fair with a few areas of moderate corrosion. It looks better in hand than the photos. The barrel address is clear and sharp. The “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER” marking on the side of the barrel is all readable with “COLT” being a little faint. The patent dates are a little bit light. The grips fit good and are period correct but don’t fit perfectly. The right grip has a corner that has been repaired. There are traces of original blue on corners and protected areas. Initials "P.H.P" engraved on the but. I never got a Colt ,Archive letter on this one but I'll guarantee it to letter correctly, minus the initials. Price includes insurance and shipping to your FFL dealer or C&R holder in the continental United States where legal.
