Description:
Very nice and sharp, old antique Colt black powder single action revolver in .45cal., with beautiful, and very unusual old carved heavy (thick), ivory stocks with factory letter and vintage studded holster. A lot of the original factory nickel finish still remains on this gun. Gun is all matching serial #'s, all factory markings are very nice and clear. The mechanics are very good, and the gun locks up tight, and the bore is pretty good as well, for a black powder gun. Nice screws with some nitre blue still remaining on most. Incredibly NICE, and very unusual deep cut, carved ivory grips with a smooth mellow patina, that fit excellent and are very thick.(See pics). NO breaks or repairs. Comes with studded holster that is in excellent condition, as well, with most of it's original finish and nice original color remaining. This old Colt has never been monkeyed with or altered and is way better, especially for a black powder gun than most!! Please ask questions if desired.
