Payment Types Accepted: Money Oder Description: Here's a old Winchester 1894 in the ever popular 38/55 caliber , a great deer hunters rifle from the past . This old gal serial number 579839 was born in 1910 and with the 30" octagon barrel of which I'd read or heard only 378 of that length were made. Also has a shotgun butt.which shows a dark area on the right side which I believe came from some old boy dozing off to near the fire. It's what one calls character ! I think it's what's called a semi buck horn sight , she shoots just fine. I've owned it for a good number of years and have used it. Not a safe queen , none of them around here are . These rifles were made to shoot. The finish is just what you see, 110 years of wear and tear but still a very presentable piece for any man's collection or use. It's C&R acceptable or will ship to your FFL for say $45.00 , insured , you'd have three days to look her over and return at your expense if you so desire. The policy being no firing or dismantling . Believe I've covered everything so if you want a sort of rare bird that's got some use left and a whole bunch of character , here she be. Any questions give me a call.
