1953 SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN K31 7.5X55 STRAIGHT PULL CARBINE. Bern arsenal marks on receiver ring along with BP proof. Serial number "218XXX" and all matching along with bolt sleeve also stamped "53". All the original blue finish just beginning to fade at edges so never refinished anywhere(including stock which still has its original stock finish and original period of use dings and scratches. Unturned screws. Crisp markings as well as on stock (Swiss cross in shield) on right buttstock. Later aftermarket sling with original type snap. Brass/steel muzzle/sight cap also stamped with Swiss cross. Import marked at muzzle "CAI…". Mint bore and crisp rifling and I have no doubt this is a tack driver as they are known for it havign shot many over the years. A must have for any target shooter's collection.
