Description:
For sale is a Webley and Scott Model 700 12 Gauge with 28 inch barrels. Choked skeet on the right and modified on the left. 2 and 3/4"chambers. LOP is 14 and 1/8". 6lb 1oz. Double triggers. Dovetail lump ejector barrels. Bores are excellent. Silver front bead. Reciever has Webley scroll engraving and approximately 80% case colors remaining. Splinter forend with Anson release. Straight grip stock with stock oval. 7/16" cast off and the left cheek slightly concaved. DAC-1 7/16" DAH-2". Built in 1965, this is a nice light English boxlock ejector. Cast off appears to be original from Webley as there is cast off to the lower tang as well. Bluing is very good at about 98%. Wood finish and checkering are in good shape also with no major blemishes. Thanks for looking!
