Description:
1996 Colt Python chambered in .357 Magnum with a factory ported 2 1/2'' barrel. This is a Lew Horton Special Edition and it is one of only 60 ever delivered to them. This is a gun that almost never comes up for sale as it is considered on of the grail Pythons that collectors never let go of. This revolver is new in the original box numbered to the gun with the manual and hang tag. I have had hundreds of bright stainless Colts pass through my hands. This is one of the best examples I have ever come across. The finish is exceptional throughout and it has not been polished or touched up in any way since leaving Colt. If you wanted to be picky there are a couple of tiny hairs just behind the cylinder release about 1mm in lenght. Everything else on this gun is without detraction in any way. Overall the finish rates a strong 99%+. The factory original rubber grips are flawless. Overall this is an example that can not be upgraded.
