True 1874 Sharp. 45 2 7/8 caliber. 30 inch Barrel and double set trigger. 12 pounds. Serial #157784. Includes factory letter. Really solid caliber Sharps rifle. Faded case hardening, but the barrel shows quite a bit of color. Tang sight (looks period to the gun). It came with it, so I left it on there. Double set triggers. Ladder rear sights. Barrel marked "Sharp Rifle Company Bridgeport Connecticut." "Old Reliable." Pitting around the end of the barrel and the crescnt butt plate as well. Barrel measures 1 and 1/16 and 27 milimeters inches across the flats. Very good condition. Wood is in pretty good chape. A hint of blue remains on the barrel. Decent rifiling. I've actually fired this gun. Shining bore.
