Description:
This is, arguably, the most attractive 28 bore Knockabout Francotte in existence. It's hard to imagine a more perfect upland gun. This was a pistol grip gun that was restocked as a straight grip, including the correct long tang. The wood is spectacular and the petite beavertail is in perfect proportion to the gun. The metal finish is original and excellent, both colors and blue. It is an ejector gun and the bores and mechanics are perfect. The dimensions are 15 1/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 7/16. The gun is a true 5 pounder---4-15.9 on my digital scale. The barrels are 26 inches and bored .006 & .010. Look over the pictures and you'll be impressed by how nice this gun looks. Close your eyes and imagine the grouse and woodcock tumbling from the sky! I'll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48. Don't miss this one!
