Don’t let the rail mount scare you, this scope comes with the Recknagel Railmount that allows this scope to attach directly to your Picatinny rail or to your standard Weaver bases, no rings. Since the two adapters slide in the rail, you can move them into many positions, to perfectly fit the Picatinny rail on your gun or any spacing of Weaver bases, and yet still allowing an incredible variable eye relief.
It is the most accurate of all scope systems and does not damage the scope from ring marks or from rail adapter marks. Look at all the photos showing different positions for the adapters (and these are only a few because you can slide the adapters anywhere along the rail, or turn them around, facing each other or not facing each other.) This gives you nearly an infinite number of spacing for your adapters and for the ocular lens. It does not need a gunsmith to install, comes with wrench, just adjust to your gun and eye, slip it on and tighten it down.
