Payment Types Accepted: cashiers check or money order Description: SOLD - This listing is for an early Smith & Wesson Model #2 Old Army .32RF revolver. S&W made 77,155 between 1861 and 1874. This is the very rare 2-pin variety with a 5" barrel. Less than 5% of the Model #2's are the 2-pin variation. Jim Supica (Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson) notes that the 2-pin variation is worth a 50% premium. This S&W revolver can be found in the 2nd Edition of "The Civil War and the Firearms Trade", page 328. It will ship with its' factory letter which states that it shipped from the factory on February 7, 1862 and a custom S&W factory case with: * an 18 round bullet block with an inlaid S&W silver medallion, * an African ebony and pre-ban ivory cleaning rod and screwdriver, * a period glass oiler, and * a 2" X 1/2" engraved plaque.
