For your consideration is an excellent condition box of German 9mm ammunition dated 1944 with ordnance code "dnh" indicating manufacture by
Rheinische-Westfalische Sprengstoff AG, Durlach plant, Baden, Germany.
The box is in overall excellent condition showing just a bit of age – it is solid & maintains its form. The box has obviously been opened but there are no major stains, rips or tears & has not been exposed to moisture. The label 95% intact & with strong colors & minimal fading.
The steel-cased cartridges are is nice & clean – very little patina & no corrosion. The projectiles are the rarer copper-jacketed type (they are usually just lead) - the copper is bright & shiny.
Detailed pictures show every angle of the box & cartridges so the condition can be accurately ascertained.
A very fine example of WWII German ammunition & a box in like condition just sold on Legacy for $120.
Asking price is $70 or best reasonable offer. Shipping is $10 via UPS.
