Description:
Winchester Model 70 in caliber .270 WCF made approximately 1941. This is a beautiful pre-war production Model 70, and appears to have seen little use. The rust blued barrel retains 99% original finish. The stock has some minor handling to the varnish. The triggerguard bow has some light thinning to the finish. Please study the photos for a better description of the condition; they were taken outside under natural light and show the condition honestly.
All original and correct in every respect, featuring a beautiful pre-war rust blued barrel, undrilled rear receiver bridge, and proper Winchester 22G rear and Lyman 31W front sights. The bolt is properly electro-penciled with the matching serial number. The front sight hood is absent. This is a collector quality and investment grade Pre-war Model 70.
