Description:
Charles Daly Superior Grade 28 ga. field shotgun, made in the late 1960's with 26" barrels choked Full/Mod (.018/.011").  It retains 99% of the factory original metal finish and appears to have seen little use.  The stock has some minor handling marks, and the action locks up proper and tight.   Please see the photos for a better description of the condition.    The best estimate is that only 200-300 of these baby frame 28 gauge Daly's were ever made, and they are a delight to handle (this example weighs 5 lbs 9 ozs).   They were high quality guns with features such as disc strikers usually seen only one guns many times the price.  Perhaps that is why so few were made before the maker decided to utilize the easier to produce 20 gauge frames for 28 gauge production.   The stock has a length of pull of 14.25" to the factory buttplate.

All original and correct in every respect, featuring nicely figured walnut stocks and scroll engraved receiver.  Please contact me via email, and I will respond promptly.   References provided upon request.
