Ithaca Gun Company U.S. Military 1911 5” 45 ACP made in 1945. Excellent condition with all stamps and markings visible. FJA Inspector Frank J. Atwood is visible. On the right side, United States Property, M 1911 A1 U.S. Army, Released British Govt 1952, BV Crown indicating it was a British Lend-Lease proofed in Birmingham. The US Ordnance wheel is mostly visible. I cannot confirm that the magazine is original to this gun. It is in excellent condition.
