Description:
Really spectacular S&W Triple Lock a/k/a .44 Hand Ejector First Model. This Triple Lock was shipped to the Hercules Powder Company on November 3rd, 1915, Wilmington, Delaware, and it remains almost as nice as the day it was delivered! Although it has just a touch of muzzle and cylinder edge wear, it certainly did not spend much time holstered or if it did, it wasn’t drawn from the holster very often. Being 105 years old I will call this revolver Very Fine to Excellent and grade the bluing at 97-98% and the grips at 97% because of a few light “dings” on the bottom. Case colors on the hammer and trigger are 99%. Bore is perfect, cylinder perfect, and mechanically perfect. This is a historically important revolver with its connection to Hercules Powders and in great condition. With factory letter.
