Description:
This is a beautiful Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 revolver in .357 Magnum manufactured in 1970. It features a very handsome gloss-blue factory finish, a 4" inch barrel, factory iron sights with an adjustable target-style rear sight, a 6-shot fluted cylinder, a color case-hardened trigger and hammer, and checkered walnut grips. This Model 19-3 has been well cared for most of it's life, and appears to only have been shot a handful of times. The factory gloss blue finish rates 95%. All of the factory stampings are crisp and clear, and all of the action screws have clean un-buggered heads on them. The color case-hardened trigger and hammer still showing beautiful color. The bore in this Smith is mirror-bright and in excellent condition. The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves throughout the barrel, and there are no visible imperfections whatsoever. The 6 chambers of the cylinder are equally as clean and bright. The factory grips are beautiful on this Model 19, with both sides in excellent condition. Both grips are free from any cracks, repairs, major damage, or wear. The checkering is still crisp and clean, and both grips have excellent S&W medallions. The action on this Smith is smooth, precise, and perfectly "in time". All of the controls on this S&W are in perfect working order, and we have no doubt it will function just as reliably and accurately now, as the day it left the factory. If you have been looking for a classic .357 Magnum revolver for your collection this Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 would be an excellent choice.
