Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring .44-40 caliber carbine. Made in 1888. Has 20” barrel. Metal has a light gray patina. Magazine tube is a replacement with plumb color patina. Butt stock is an original Winchester 1873 but is off another rifle. Bore has strong rifling and is dark. Serial number is very faint.
