Awesome condition and a totally complete RIG. The gun has retained about 98+% of the original factory finish. The little loss there is, is just from some slight sharp edge silvering. The slide's right side is stamped Crown/C, Crown/C, Crown/S, Upturned Eagle. The strawed parts have also retained at least 95% of the original color with the loss due to some slight fading over the last 101 years. The grip straps show no graying. The front sight has the rare windage adjustment. ALL PARTS MATCH including the tangent sight.
The wood checkered grips are flawless, not a chip, ding or split anywhere. The grip screws are also perfect. The slide rails, bolt face and feed ramp show very little if any use. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling without a trace of frost. It comes a with one magazine, #3907.
The rig comes with the non matching board stock which is fine shape, a correct black over brown finished holster in super shape with all flaps and stitching intact. The holster contains one proper cleaning rod, and one original take down tool. The holster is stamped R. Kuhlewein, 1916, Erfurt. In addition to having all the proper parts it has the rare shoulder strap. For the investor/collector the complete set doesn't get any better than this......SHIPPED .......$5795.***
