This is a very beautiful example of the 1939 "S/42”. The gun retains more than 98-99% of the original factory blue. The very slight lose there is, is from the muzzle, sharp edge silvering and a little side plate wear. The grip straps have not grayed and there are no rust marks or scratches anywhere on the gun. The right side of the slide is stamped Eagle/65, Eagle/65, Eagle/Swastika, and the barrel Eagle/Swastika.
The grips are numbered to the gun and are in perfect condition. All parts match. The bolt, slide rails and feed ramp show minimal use. The bore is super, mirror bright and with razor-sharp rifling. The gun comes with one correct aluminum-based magazine numbered 8484 and stamped Eagle/63. This German officer's Cabinet Princess is a real find for the serious investor/collector for whom rarity and condition are his bible... Shipped......$2395***
