Description:
This Colt SAA was produced in 1883. 7 1/2" barrel. 45 cal. Serial no. 97932. All serial numbers match. Blue and casecolor. Varnished grips . Has a fair amount of original blue on barrel and backstrap and in flutes of cylinder. Faded casecolor can be seen on frame. Grips have 95% original finish. Bore has strong rifling with some discoloration in grooves. Great screws. Gun is totally untouched, just the way we want them. FACTORY REAL shoulder stock has just about all original nickel plate. Thumb screw has original casecolor still. This revolver is in a range that will not letter from Colt. But, my opinion from years of experience, this combination of revolver and stock have been together since the begining. I cannot say when lanyard ring was attached. Probably from the begining. A VERY VERY rare stocked SAA that would be a standout in any collection. So few real ones exist. Please call 973-214-3407
