Description:
This octagon barreled model 1892 rifle was rebored/rechambered years ago to caliber .38 Special by a Colorado firm through the A.W. Peterson gun shop here in Florida. It was then refinished (metal and wood). At the time of the conversion the barrel was slightly shortened as shown in the photos. Wood is solid except for a minor crack in forend (see photo). Much better than a new Rossi Replica in the same caliber! A wonderful "using" gun as a companion to your faithful revolver and at a great price....Plus it can go direct to you as long as you are 21 and don't live in a communist state - rifle is an antique made in 1894.
