Description:
New old stock - unissued WWII German Tropical “A-frame” equipment strap ('Riemen zum Gefechts-/Sturmgepäck').
The strap is made of tan-colored webbing with 2 loops & is sewn with dark thread. The buckle is marked “D&C” & retains all of its light gray paint with absolutely no rust. The end of the strap is marked “LUX” & looks to be blued. This exhibits some very light surface rust which clean off easily (see photo).
The strap is 25-inches (63cm) long & is designed to secure equipment such as a Zelt to the standard Assault Pack (‘A-Frame’).
This is an excellent strap in near mint condition.
