Description:
Colt Combat Commander .45ACP semi automatic pistol, dated to 1999. This pistol features the classic 1911 design, with a stainless steel construction, a handy commander size, an ambidextrous safety lever, and checkered hardwood grip panels. The pistol is fitted with Trijicon night sights, which unfortunately have lost their luminescence, however still function nicely as target sights with the broad rear sight. The pistol has polished flats on the frame and slide, and a matted finish on the inside rounds. The pistol is in great working order with a glass-smooth action, very nice trigger pull and a superb bore. Some signs of age and light/normal use are present, as well as some marks handling, assembly and disassembly, etc. It would appear that some of the stain/finish is peeling in areas of the grips, as shown. The forward serrations on the slide are a very nice touch, allowing for easy manipulation while shooting. Don't miss out on owning this unique 1911 configuration! No handgun sales in MA.
