Description:
S&W .45 Hand Ejector Model of 1917 revolver chambered for .45 Auto Rim or for .45 ACP with the use of “moon” clips. 5 ½” barrel. This revolver was shipped from S&W to Thompson-Diggs, Sacramento, CA on September 24, 1931 and was ordered for Commerical Hardware Co. See attached factory letter for details. For an 89 year old revolver this gun is in really nice/original condition. 95% original blue with light muzzle and cylinder edge wear; noticeable wear on the right side of the barrel and also along the top of the frame.. 97% original silver medallion wood grips. And nearly perfect case colors on the hammer and trigger. Perfect mechanics and mirror bore and cylinder.
