High Standard "The Plinker" Manufactured in 1969, fitted with a 4 1/2 inch barrel, fixed sights, checkered single-piece plastic grip, external safety, with slide release lever, is blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR. This 1960s vintage Plinker is in operational condition, retaining 95% original blue finish. The grip fits well and show no visible signs of damage. The bore looks as new. Mechanically the pistol functions flawlessly, the only issue is the safety has a light retaining spring and can be easily disengaged. For this reason this pistol can be had for a steal.
