Description:
We just got this absolutely gorgeous shotgun in from the estate. This is a Winchester Model 12 pump-action shotgun chambered in 20 GA with a 2-3/4" inch chamber. Has a factory 30 inch vent rib barrel with a fixed full choke. Manufactured in 1949. This beauty was exquisitely engraved by the Master Engraver Angelo Bee who came from Browning in Belgium. This beauty has gorgeous multi-color game scenes on both sides of the receiver and beautiful scroll patterns throughout the gun. Read up on Angelo and you will see that he is one of the best engravers in our history. The wood on this gun is stunning presentation grade French Walnut with beautiful checkering patterns. There are some light handling marks in the wood but nothing too bad and overall the wood just looks plain amazing! The blued finish on this shotgun is gorgeous and near 100% with beautiful gold inlays. Signed by Angelo on the left side of the receiver. Length of pull to the factory Winchester butt plate is about 14.25" inches. This shotgun works just as great as it looks with a very nice tight action and a cherry shiny bore.
