THIS 1911 COLT 1911 .45 WAS BUILT IN 1914 AND IS A COMMERCIAL MODEL WITH ALL STANDARD FEATURES. THE BLUING IS EXCELLENT FOR IT'S AGE AND ONLY SHOWS A SMALL AMOUNT OF WEAR ON THE HIGH SPOTS AT THE FRONT OF THE SLIDE AND FRAME AND ON THE LEFT TOP EDGE OF THE SLIDE NEAR THE REAR SIGHT FROM BEING IN A HOLSTER AT SOME POINT IN IT'S LIFE. IT HAS NOT BEEN REFINISHED AND ALL THE LETTERING AND OTHER MARKINGS ARE VERY SHARP AND CRISP. THE CHECKERING ON THE DIAMOND GRIPS IS A LITTLE FLATTENED AND THE MAGAZINE IS 2-TONED WITHOUT THE LANYARD RING.
