Description:
This is a very nice looking gun in a somewhat rare chambering, it is an unmodified unique somewhat rare and collectable mod 70 Variant (670's were the discount store brand) of post 64 Mod 70's. Different from 70's in some ways, primariy the absence of a a hinged floor plate; these have a fixed mag making for a more ridged gun and in theory better accuracy.
225s were a now obsolete round with balitics similar to a 22-250 (as i recall)
Model 670's were made in the New Haven Connecticut Winchester Plant from 1967 to 1973
This is a very nice looking gun with only a few l relatively light marks, the most meaningful are on the underside of the stock seemingly caused by a rest or gun rack.... No loss of blue and no non factory mods with the possible exception of sling swivel studs? Barrel is 22"
