Payment Types Accepted: Money Oder Description: Here's a rifle that seldom comes up , I've got to thin the herd so will put this vintage Marlin 1895 out there , in 38/56 caliber, features a 26" octagon barrel with a Lyman tang mounted peep sight along with the standard blade front sight and rear open . high percentage of blue remains along with some case colors on receiver. Wood is all original , never been messed with . These were a heavy build rifle , I believe less than 18,000 total built up to I think 1917. This one serial number 171562 dates to 1898 so I guess it would be antique . a truly seldom seen rifle in any of the offered calibers. the 38/56 was made out of a 45/70 case, I shoot this rifle , it's fun and very accurate. This one sat in a closet for over 35 years . But bore and rifling are excellent . Just a vintage old 95 Marlin , in great shape , one of the Big Dog's , shipped to you in the lower 48 for $45.00 ,maybe best to ship to a FFL or your valid C&R , will offer you three days to look it over but please no dismantling or firing and return if your not happy at your expense . I've attended the Big show in South Dakota a number of years , 1200 tables and you would be lucky to find two of these old 95's and for twice what I'm asking . So think it over , if your a Marlin guy this is a fine rifle.
