Description:
20 gauge, 28″ Krupp Fluid Steel barrels, Chambers lengthened to 3”. Chokes measure .017 right and .025 left. Brilliant shiny bores. Full length matted rib with dual ivory beads. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock, checkered in 2 point pattern with checkered side panels. 14” length of pull to the front trigger over a hard rubber butt plate. Splinter forearm with engraved Deeley release and iron checkered in three point pattern. Receiver features floral scroll engraving with "ANSLEY H FOX" in a banner on each side and two quail in a field scene on the bottom. The engraving extends to the top lever. The trigger guard has simple line designs and an oval in the center. The top breech end of the right barrel is marked "KRUPP FLUID STEEL MADE BY" and "A.H. FOX GUN Co. PHILA. PA" on the left. There is a 3/4 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving at the breech end of the barrels. Condition: Barrels retain 75% original bluing. Frame retains 50% darkened original case color mostly on sides and top. Forearm iron retains original finish mostly on the inside. Trigger guard retains 50% original blue. Buttstock and forearm retain most of their original varnish with numerous light handling marks. Drop at Comb: 2 1/8”. Drop at Heel: 3 ¾”. Weight: 6.4 lbs. Minimum wall thickness: .025 right, .024 left. Mechanics are excellent.
