This beautiful Browning Safari rifle is another one of my "safe queens" it is absolutely new and unfired !
I have owned and taken good care of this fine firearm for over 35 years and the time has come to let it go. The original owner was my Uncle who never fired the gun.
Anyway, I have taken sufficient pictures to show the condition of the inside of the firing chamber and the bolt itself, both being nice and shiny. As you can see the bluing is perfect and shiny, the stock is also perfect, no dings or anything like that. The barrel is of medium weight and is 23.5 inches long, the action is the long trusted Mauser action. The 375 H&H magnum was produced with an extra steel recoil block fitted to the barrel and inserted into the stock with an extra forward stock screw.
These old Safari browning were made in Belgium in the 1960"s and I might add were hand made, hand fitted, and hand checkered with precision parts, the magazine release is etched in gold. The 375 H&H magnum is one of the rarer calibers in the Safari series, to say nothing of being absolutely new, there may not be another one ! Browning stopped making the "Safari's" I believe in 1969 due to costs.
