Very hard to find now in a F (Featherweight) chambered in .308 We are calling this 75% cond or perhaps a little better. Well used, not abused but it appeaers that somone used steel wool on the barrel and in a very small area on the left side of receiver. There is a small split not visible inside of butt stock that wil not be an issue and it doens NOT have the tang split seen on many 99's. There are no non factory holes, no rust or pitting. characteristic split behind the Nice med. dark walnut stock set with correct factory hand checkering. It has all the desirable features that made Arthur Savage a firearms genuis and make certain models of 99's so sought after today; brass (cartridge) counter and cocking indicator. Bore is excellent. Normal wear to finish from use and carry; we are rating conditon at 80 %
