Description:
These exceptionally handy little carbines were made from 1961 to 1984. Like so many other classic firearms one wonders why Ruger stopped producing these as they remain popular in big woods across the land. Handy for young hunters, with an overall lengh of only 36 1/2". Light fast and capable. Ideal as a truck gun or for a scabbard. Modern 44 mag ammo is even more potent than what was commercially avail when these venerable classics were produced.
This gun is in 90 + % conditon with only light normal hunting wear. Bore is excellent.
Front site blade (in the dovetail) is damaged...many others will fit right into the dovetail and shoudl be available on ebay and other locations.
We have 2 others to be listed here shortly...one is an RS with unique factory installed peep site (early gun) and another similar to the one listed here..both others have 5 digit no prefix serial numbers
