Description:

A Japanese Tanto in mounts This blade is 11¾” (29.6 cm) in length. It is ubu with two holes and unsigned. It featured a single groove on each side. The hamon is gonome midare. The fuchi, kashira and menuki are shakuio ground with figures. The iron tsuba has a floral motif. The kodzuka and kogia are shakudo and unsigned. The saya has been ground shark shin finish.
