SOLD Rare Thompson Center HAWKEN model in .45 cal. With a very good walnut stock, and brass furniture. This early model has an engraved case hardened lock, and adjustable rear sight. Has an oak ramrod,with a brass tip and a 29" octagonal barrel with a clean, shiny rifled bore. Has all the shiny barrel blue. Has Set triggers, and a brass patch box. The walnut wood has a few minor dings from handling, nothing serious.. The stock looks about new, this gun looks unfired, a few scrape marks on the lock screw area where is rested against something. The action is crisp the nicest one I've seen. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
