Description:
This wery well made fowler has an authentic appearanace and feel! It features an aged round 54" 20 guage round tapered steel barrel one of Ken's creations inscribed with silver "KN" makers mark for Ken Netting inlaid at the breech. Early style flintlock mechanism with flat lockplate endgraved with scrolls. Engraved brass furniture and oil finished full lenght cherry stock with carved decoration around barrel tang and ramrod entry ferrule.
Ken Netting rifes and fowlers and longrifles are highly sought after by collectors and shooters alike and are seldom available in the market. I understand that ken is no longer making guns.
This finely crafted fowler represents a circa 1770 New England fowler utilizing British parts. CONDITION Fine as new throughout.
