Winchester Model 1876 Sporting Rifle .45-60wcf. with Factory 28 inch Barrel, Thumb Print Dust Cover. The serial number of this example is 448X placing date of manufacture in 1878. Very nice early Second Model four digit. Overall condition is very good with grey patina. Bore is dark, however rifling is present. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect.
