Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Made in 1891. Has 24” barrel. Barrel is reasonably sharp with a mostly brown patina, some pitting near the muzzle. The front sight has been replaced with an 1857 dated dime. The frame is dark gray to brown patina. Wood is very good as refinished with a coat of varnish. Bore has visible rifling with some pitting.
