Description:
Our Assessment: This PreOwned Perazzi is in great shape. There are a few minor handling marks in the wood from normal use however and the barrels have some minor thinning to the bluing on the muzzle end, but other wise they're without wear. The trigger guard has some wear to the bluing as well. Colorcased receiver is still in pretty good shape however, there are a few spots where the color casing is worn and a few minor places where the clear coat is starting to peel ( see photos).
Fun Fact: Perazzi made the MX8 in 1968 for the Mexico City Olympics. The following year, these guns were imported into the US through Ithaca.
This set is perfect for those of you that enjoy both skeet and trap. Two trigger groups are included as well. Barrels are ported. The bores are very Bright and smooth. The top barrel is fixed choke in Full and the bottom barrel has been converted for choke tubes by Ken Eister. Barrel features a white mid bead and a florescent front . It also features a custom walnut stock in grade 3. Forend is original to the gun.
Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. We have not fired this shotgun.
