This is a very nice Colt Sporter Competition HBAR II / Accurized Rifle in .223 Remington / 5.56 Nato. This rifle appears to be a combination of a complete Colt Sporter Competition HBAR II lower with a complete Colt factory Accurized Rifle upper. The only non-factory parts on the gun are a stock extension and a extended latch on the cocking piece. The upper features a Colt stainless steel heavy 24" inch match-grade barrel, a flat-top upper, a low-profile gas block, and a free-floated alloy handguard with 2 sling swivel studs. The barrel is stamped on the top with: "MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR ELITE". The lower appears to be all-stock except for the stock extension, and features an A2 pistol grip and fixed buttstock. It is stamped with the Rampant Colt logo and Colt name above "SPORTER Competition HBAR II Cal. .223". The serial number is "JC000149". As you can see from the pictures this Colt is in excellent shape all-around, with the factory finish in beautiful shape. There are no bad spots or eyesores on this gun, and you really have to look very closely to find some tiny handling/storage marks. The bore is in like-new condition, mirror-bright with perfect sharp rifling throughout the barrel. All of the furniture is also in excellent condition, including the really nice factory free-floated handguard. The action on this Colt is slick and smooth, and all of the controls on this rifle are in perfect working order. We have no doubt that it will function flawlessly and be supremely accurate. This Colt comes with one factory 20-round magazine. If you have been looking for a high quality long-range AR-style rifle for your collection, this Colt would be a great choice.
