Description:
This rifle is Deluxe Winchester Model 1894 in caliber 30-30. It is a take down rifle with a 26" round barrel and full magazine. It has a pistol grip and checkering on stock and forend. The overall condition is good and shows that it was used and has handleing marks and some imperfections as such . The wood has some small nicks on the rear stock. Both the forearm and stock show wear where it was carried . The screws are in good condition . The butt plate has a crack at the bottom and is missing a portion. The metal is good and has about 70% remaining blue turning to a patina with no rust or pitting. The bore is slightly dark but shows grooves and landings intact with no bad sections. Serial number is 54,166 and was shipped May5,1899.
