Description:
1939 Colt 1911A1 Navy contract pistol. This is an all original gun with the original military brushed blue finish. The slide and frame are numbers matching. It has the correct small G barrel that is P marked on the lug. The bore is excellent with very light wear and overall it rates an 8 out of 10. The finish on the slide remains in excellent condition with light and scattered wear and handling. The front strap of the grip frame has the typical thinning and patina that you will normally see on these with the balance of the frame remaining in excellent condition. The grips are overall in good condition with a few flat spots in the checkering.
