Description:
All original Colt Lightning with a scarce 6" barrel, chambered in .38 Long Colt caliber. It is serial number 119107 and matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. This gun is fresh from the woods. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a 100 years when I bought it and I only cleaned it a little. Some of the screw slots still have 100 year old dirt in them. It functions properly in both single action and double action with a slight amount of play in full lock up. The bore is good with a couple of spots of moderate corrosion. The grips fit properly. The factory applied markings are all clear and crips. There is a nice amount of original nickel on the frame, triggerguard, backstrap and ejector housing with only traces on the barrel and cylinder. The back of the hammer and trigger have a lot of original fire blue remaining. I haven't gotten a letter on this one but I'll guarantee it to letter correctly or a full refund will be provided. Price includes insurance and shipping in the continental United States where legal. A three day inspection is offered with full refund if returned unfired in the same condition.
