Description: Serial #B122, 9mm Glisenti, 3 3/4" barrel with a very good bore that has minor freckling within the grooves. This is a simplified, improved version of the Model 1910 Glisenti that retains 95-97% of the original blue finish with some silvering and fading along the high edges and projections. The bolt, trigger, and magazine retain their bright nickel finish with the checkered, Italian eagle crest grips are intact, and have numerous small handling marks on either side. The pistol comes with a single original, external spring magazine and rates fine-excellent condition overall. These were intended to be less labor intensive to produce than the Model 1910 Glisenti, but were never adopted, thus all production Brixias were sold commercially. Please Note: The 9mm Glisenti is almost dimensionally identical to the 9mm Parabellum, but is loaded to much lower pressures. Firing a 9mm Parabellum round in a Model 1912 Brixia pistol could result in catastrophic failure, and severe injury.
