Excellent original condition Enfield No2 MK I revolver, marked RAF, dated 1936, military accepted. SN: E1121. Cal: .38. Standard configuration Enfield No2 MK I with 5” barrel having inserted front blade and fixed rear sight. Top rib with “CAL .38” along with “36” date/acceptance markings. Right side of barrel with proofing notation. Full serial number under barrel lug, frame and cylinder. Crown proof marks adjacent to each cylinder and right side of frame that has also been stamped “ENFIELD” over the model and year of production. Midframe marked “R.A.F.” and cylinder with supplemental notation “B.B.34” All components parkerized. Serrated wood grips with border. Base fitted with rotatable lanyard ring. Condition: Excellent original parkerizing with at least 97-98% coverage. VG-EXC grips with darkening and expected scuffs from field use. Mirror bright, near perfect bore. Perfect manual mechanics with each cylinder locking up tightly. A wonderful Military Enfield revolver from 1936, marked for use by the RAF, that would enjoyed by any British or WWII military collector. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! A-979
