It was produced in 1911 with a serial number of 107375. It has a 28-inch barrel choked Full with a solid rib on top. The bore is bright with no pitting. The gun has matching serial numbers on the receiver, stock, and barrel. The butt plate is original to this gun.  This gun was engraved at the factory by Remington engravers. According to Remington's records, the engraver was one of two engravers: Owen Delange and Joe Loy. There is engraving all over this gun, including the receiver, breech area, barrel, and forend cap. The engraving is of very high quality and very pleasing to look at. This shotgun shows field use and wear but seems to have been well-cared for. The original finish would rate a 80% overall condition. The wood varnish would rate a 85% condition. The checkering is clean and sharp. The forend has no cracks or splits. Two holes have been drilled underneath the butt pad, presumably to add recoil absorber. They are not visible externally and in no way affect the aesthetic of the gun. This is a very collectable early Remington shotgun. All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Think long, think wrong. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions.
