Description:
***SOLD*** Colt Sporter Lightweight .223 Remington / 5.56mm NATO semi automatic AR-15 rifle, manufactured prior to the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. This rifle features the iconic and familiar AR-15 design, with an A-2 style fixed stock, a carbine length gas system, with an integral carry handle, and a very desireable more modern lower profile, with the fenced magazine release. The lower is fitted with a Sear Block, which was installed by the factory to prevent full-auto conversions, and the factory standard full-auto bolt carrier is still present. The rifle is in superb condition and appears to have been used very lightly if at all, and seems to have been owned as a collectors item rather than a shooter. The action is smooth and the bore looks excellent. The rifle includes the factory Colt magazine that would have likely shipped with the gun; a Colt 20rd mag that has been blocked to 5rds. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. No sale where prohibited by law. A wonderful collectors item, and likely an awesome shooting rifle!
