VERY NICE Antique European FLINTLOCK Musket
Smoothbore Infantry Musket Circa 1800
Here we present an antique European Flintlock Smoothbore Musket, made circa the late-18th/early-19th Century. This infantry musket features a massive .71 caliber barrel secured by 3 bands. The hammer is gracefully curved yet robust. The number “540” is repeated throughout as an assembly number.
The overall condition is very good. The iron parts are bright with an old coat of oil on top. The markings are clear. The walnut stock is smooth and solid. There is a small split under the front of the lock. The bore is in good shape, smooth and clean. The action is excellent, strong and crisp. Here is a really neat flintlock musket for your collection!
