Description:
44 cal. Standard configuration musket with 30 inch barrel and a near excellent bore! Nearly all barrel blue remains. There is some freckling and light corrosion scattered throughout the top of the barrel and a spot on the left side of the receiver. This evidently was wrapped in a blanket or in a gun case and got damp at one time. The rest of the blue is quite nice with the exception of the right side in front of the loading gate where it is a brown color. Very nice case colors on the lever and hammer. Wood is also exceptional being nice fitting and just a few handling marks. Original musket sights. Comes with original 5-piece cleaning rod in the buttstock.
